SalesLens

Your App Store sales, finally readable.

App Store Connect hands you a tab-separated file with product type IA1-M, a price in kroner and a proceeds column per unit. SalesLens turns it into what you want to know: what sold, what Apple kept, and what you'll be paid — in one currency, every morning.

Then €0.99 a month or €7.99 a year, billed by the App Store. Cancel any time.

One row of Apple's report, decoded

Apple's sales report lists one line per product, country and price. The columns are terse and the proceeds are per unit in the customer's currency. This is what one line really says.

The dashboard, with real numbers

These are screenshots of a live account, not mock-ups: 1,213 downloads, 50 in-app purchases and 690 updates in 90 days. Yours shows the same tiles, charts and tables for your apps.

Sales, then proceeds, then what you keep

Every amount is shown three times: what customers paid (€227), what's left after Apple's commission (€158), and what's left after refunds (€145). Those are real tiles from a real account — 5 refunds across 17 currencies, already netted out.

Six dashboard tiles: 1,213 downloads, sales ≈ €227.08, proceeds ≈ €158.36, net proceeds ≈ €145.01 after 5 refunds in 17 currencies, 50 in-app purchases, 690 updates

Daily bars with 9-, 50- and 100-day averages

Downloads and net proceeds per day for any range from a week to a year, each with three trailing averages so a good week doesn't look like a trend. Yesterday appears as soon as Apple publishes it.

Every purchase, every refund, with the country

The last week's in-app purchases, renewals and refunds as a list — product, app, country with its flag, what they paid and what you net. A refund is a red badge on a negative row, not a surprise in next month's statement.

Recent in-app purchases table: Premium Unlock sales in the United States, Denmark, Germany and Luxembourg, one marked refund, and a Sync Plus Yearly subscription from Germany

By app, by country, by product

Which app earns, where it earns, and which in-app purchase does the work — US, DE, GB, FR on top here. Cross them as app × country when you want to know whether Japan likes your Mac app.

By-country table with flags: United States 357 units, Germany 53, United Kingdom 51, France 17, Taiwan, Canada, Japan and more, each with sales, proceeds and net

Three steps, about four minutes

  1. Create an account

Email and password, then a one-time code from your authenticator app. MFA is required for everyone, not an option.

  2. Paste your App Store Connect key

Key ID, issuer ID, vendor number and the .p8 file, from Users and Access in App Store Connect. A key with the Finance role is enough.

  3. Read your numbers

SalesLens pulls your daily reports through Apple's official API and shows the last 90 days. Open the same account in the iOS or Mac app.

Your key is the whole product. It's treated that way.

  • Encrypted at rest

Each key is encrypted with a customer-managed AWS KMS key, bound to your account, before it is stored. Only the function that talks to Apple can decrypt it.

  • MFA for everyone

Sign-in is Amazon Cognito with a mandatory authenticator-app code. There is no "skip for now".

  • Data in Frankfurt

Reports, keys and accounts live in AWS eu-central-1. Nothing is replicated elsewhere.

  • Least privilege

Your App Store Connect key needs the Finance role and nothing more. We never ask for your Apple ID or password.

  • Delete any time

One button removes your keys, your cached reports and your account. Revoking the key in App Store Connect works too.

  • Audited

Every sign-in, key change and deletion is logged with who, what and when — without the key itself ever appearing in a log.

Last security remediation: 14 October 2026.Least-privilege IAM for every function, write-capable App Store Connect keys rejected, refresh tokens revoked on sign-out, CloudTrail/CloudWatch monitoring of every key use, AWS WAF in front of the site.Independent pre-release security review before each release; findings are tracked and fixed before shipping.

Questions people ask first

Why do you need the vendor number?

Apple's Sales Reports API requires it on every request; it identifies you as the seller. Strangely it isn't returned by the API itself. You'll find it in App Store Connect under Payments and Financial Reports, top left next to your legal name — eight digits, usually starting with 8.

Can you see my apps' source or my Apple ID?

No. You never enter your Apple ID or password. An App Store Connect API key with the Finance role can read sales reports and the list of your apps, and nothing else — it can't change prices, upload builds or touch your code. You can revoke the key in App Store Connect at any time.

Where is my key stored?

Encrypted with a customer-managed AWS KMS key, in eu-central-1 (Frankfurt). It's decrypted only for the few seconds it takes to sign a request to Apple, inside the function that makes that request. It never reaches the browser or the apps.

Are the EUR figures exact?

They're close, not exact. Conversion uses daily reference rates; Apple applies its own rates at payout, and its monthly financial report is the one your accountant wants. SalesLens is for knowing what's happening this week.

What happens after the 7-day trial?

The subscription you picked starts, billed by the App Store. Cancel in your Apple subscriptions any time before that and nothing is charged. Your account and data stay until you delete them.

What happens if I delete my account?

Your keys, your cached reports and your account are deleted immediately. There's no retention period and nothing to email support about.
